Suffering
These are a continuing series I started in 2018 about different forms of suffering we experience, and the physiological effects these emotional states have on our bodies. I’ve found that when you share these feelings with others, sometimes there’s an empathetic disconnect, because they cannot feel your physical pain, they can only hear your words. These images fill the gap in one’s imagination, making pain visible. I hope these works will provide relatable comfort and promote open discussion about mental health awareness. Take care of yourselves out there in this crazy world!
